Randolph Aldridge, Director - BIO

Effective July 6, 2010. Randolph C. Aldridge was appointed as a new independent director of EHII. Mr. Aldridge is a San Antonio based energy industry consultant and independent businessman with over 35 years of diversified engineering, marketing and management experience. He has served as a director of several companies, both public and private, including Terasen Inc., a publicly traded Vancouver, Canada headquartered pipeline and utility business (acquired by Houston’s Kinder Morgan in 2005), Abraxas LLC (an affiliate of Abraxas Petroleum) from 2007 to 2009, and Husky Oil Holdings and Husky Oil Toledo, subsidiaries of Husky Energy of Calgary, Canada from March 2008 to present.

From 1980 to 2003, Mr. Aldridge served in a number of project management, marketing and leadership positions with Koch Industries, a diversified, privately held energy and trading company. He served in Wichita, KS, Houston, TX, and Calgary, Canada. In 1998 he led the initial public offering of Koch Pipelines, LP (the company’s Canadian pipeline business) and served as its Chairman until October 2002. He was involved in setting corporate governance and legal standards. He dealt with the Board of Directors, unit holders and analysts and later managed the transition from Koch Industries’ ownership of the General Partner to its new purchaser. He was President of Koch Petroleum Canada, Chairman of True North Energy Corp and overall leader of Koch’s other Canadian businesses, including its very successful exploration and production group. He was on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers; Governor, 50th and 51st Canadian Oilmen’s; Board of Directors, Alberta Chamber of Resources.

From 1995 to 1998 he was President of Koch Oil Co., US and Koch Oil International in Wichita, KS. Koch was the US’s largest crude oil purchasing and gathering company and had trading offices in London, Houston and Singapore as well.

He was a US Navy officer and carrier based pilot during the Vietnam War, completing two cruises and over 200 combat missions.

Mr. Aldridge has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MS degree in International Management Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is presently involved with a number of non-profits and service organizations.
